Environmental Wellness
Environmental wellness recognizes that surroundings (physical, social, and natural) deeply influence well-being. For children, this includes safe homes, supportive schools, clean environments, and predictable routines.
Cluttered, noisy, polluted, or unsafe environments can increase stress and reduce focus. In contrast, nurturing spaces promote calm, learning, and emotional regulation. Even small changes, such as organized spaces, access to nature, or safe home environments, can have meaningful impacts.
Teaching children to care for their environment also fosters responsibility and connection to the world around them.
